Hot towel too hot is obvious, but what about too cold in winter shops?

I started running my hot towels through a second heat cycle after the cabinet in my shop near Buffalo kept dropping the temp to lukewarm, and clients stopped complaining, but now I wonder if I'm just covering for a bad cabinet, so who else adjusts their towel routine for seasonal shop temps?

My last shop was in Rochester and I had the same issue, so I started wrapping the towels in the plastic sleeves before they even hit the cabinet. Turns out the plastic was holding the heat way better, but then a client complained the towel felt like a wet sauna bag, so I had to ditch that. Now I just keep a digital thermometer in the cabinet and check it before every appointment, which sounds anal but I lost a regular over a cold towel once. That lady called me out in front of the whole waiting room and I still get twitchy thinking about it.
