I finally switched from my old comb to a wide tooth detangling comb for thick hair

The difference in sectioning speed and client comfort on a 45 minute fade was huge. Anyone else find a simple tool change that saved real time?

My old barber in Chicago swore by a basic fine-tooth comb for fades, said it gave him more control. I tried a wide tooth once and felt like I was fighting the hair, especially on the blend lines. For me, the speed comes from a comb I'm used to, not the type. A new tool can actually slow me down for a week while I get the feel for it.
