I switched from a straight razor to a safety razor for my neckline cleanup about a year ago. Anyone else make a change like that?

Wait, you used a straight razor on your neck before that? That's insane. I tried a straight razor exactly once and nearly took my ear off. The idea of using one on the neck, where you can't even see what you're doing, gives me chills. A safety razor is the only sane choice for detail work. I don't know how you managed it for so long without a trip to the ER.

I read somewhere that straight razors require a much steeper learning curve and that most people end up with nicks before they figure it out. Made me feel better about switching to the safety razor myself.

Made the same switch a few months back. The safety razor is way easier to handle on those tricky spots.
