Pro tip: Keep a spare blade in your kit after my clipper jammed mid-fade
I was doing a skin fade at my shop in Boise last Thursday when my main clippers just stopped moving halfway through. The motor was running but the blade was stuck. I had a guy in my chair with half a haircut. I remembered I had a spare blade in my bottom drawer from a kit I bought six months ago. Swapped it out in under a minute and finished the cut without the client even really noticing. Has anyone else had a clipper just freeze up like that, and what brand do you trust not to do it?

Oh man, I read a whole thread about this on a barber forum last month. Basically everyone agreed that having a backup blade is just part of the job now, no matter what brand you use. It's saved me a couple times too.
