Serious question, a client in Omaha told me his last barber always used a straight razor for the neckline.

He said it gave a cleaner finish than clippers with a guard. Has anyone else found that to be true, or is it just extra risk for the same result?

Read a barber blog that said it's about the blade angle, not just the tool.

That "cleaner finish" is a real thing in my experience, but you have to be very good with the razor to get it.

Ever tried a shavette to get that feel without the full straight razor risk?
