Spent $180 on a new clipper that just sits in my drawer
I bought a fancy cordless clipper online last month, thinking it would make fades faster. The battery life was only 30 minutes, and it got hot after two cuts. I ended up going back to my old corded ones. Has anyone found a cordless model that actually holds up for a full day?

Ugh, don't get me started. I fell for the same trap with a pair of pruners last year. Paid a premium for the "freedom" of a battery, and the thing gives up before I can even finish one small tree. Guess I'm just a sucker for shiny new things that don't work.

Ever notice how everything is "cordless" now but the batteries are terrible? My new drill dies halfway through a shelf project. My fancy vacuum runs for ten minutes. They sell you on the idea of freedom, but you just end up chained to a charger. Feels like we traded good tools for slightly more convenient junk.
