Spent $400 on a new clipper and it's a total lemon

Grabbed the new 'Viper Blade' model last month, thinking it would be a game changer for fades. Motor gets way too hot after two cuts, starts pulling hair. Now it just sits in my drawer. Anyone have a good heavy-duty clipper that can handle back-to-back appointments without quitting?

Sounds like you bought a pet snake instead of a clipper. Honestly, that's just paying $400 for a fancy paperweight.

My cousin's snake actually escaped and ate his neighbor's hamster last year. That's a $400 paperweight with a body count.

Man, "paperweight with a body count" is such a perfect way to put it. That's a seriously rough situation for everyone, even the snake. I'd be mortified if my pet caused that kind of damage and neighbor drama. Stuff like that is why a lot of people are scared of exotic pets, even if it's usually an owner mistake.
