The hand clippers I started with vs the ones I use now... what a difference 10 years makes

I picked up a pair of Wahl Peanut clippers back in 2014 for $30 at a pawn shop in Columbus. They did the job but took forever on a full head of thick hair. Now I use a cordless Oster 76 and I can finish a fade in 15 minutes flat. Anyone else notice how much faster the newer motors are even on basic cuts?

Oh man, the Peanut is a champ for little stuff but yeah, it's a workout on a full head. I still keep mine around for edging up necklines and sideburns because it's so light. The cordless Oster is a beast though. I got one last year and it's night and day. The torque alone saves you like 10 minutes of redoing passes.

You ever try cutting through thick hair with those Peanuts? Feels like you're fighting the clippers the whole time. The newer stuff just chews through it.
