Thought clipper-over-comb was just laziness until my wrist gave out at 52

Always figured barbers who leaned on clipper-over-comb just never learned to scissor properly. Then my thumb started locking up on a Tuesday and a guy at the shop in Toledo showed me how to blend a fade with a #1 guard and a flick, no scissors at all. Keeps my hand going through a full Saturday now. Any of you fighting wrist pain, or is it just me?
