Vent: Got sick of tossing plastic clipper guard sleeves, so I tried fabric ones
I was cleaning up my station last Friday and just stared at the bin full of those thin plastic sleeves from clipper guards. It dawned on me that we probably throw away hundreds a month without even thinking. I ordered some reusable fabric sleeves online to give them a shot. Yeah, you have to wash them after each use, which is a bit extra, but it's become a quick habit. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but it feels way better not contributing to so much plastic trash. The upfront cost was a little more, but I'm already saving money since I don't buy the disposable packs anymore. If other shops gave this a go, the reduction in waste would be pretty huge. Honestly, a small change that made my routine a bit greener.

How's the washing routine working out for you?

Honestly, my washing routine is all over the place right now. I keep forgetting to switch loads and end up with damp clothes sitting for days. It's so frustrating because I thought I had a system. What about you, do you separate colors or just throw everything in together? I'm trying to figure out if I'm making it too complicated. Like, is there a trick to staying on top of it without spending all day on laundry?

Spending all day on laundry" sounds like a lot, honestly. I just throw everything in together on cold and have never had a disaster. Maybe the system is the problem? Setting a phone timer when you start a load is the only real trick I know.
