A mod on r/woodworking permabanned me over a single word, and the message was 4 sentences long
I got hit with a permanent ban last Tuesday for typing "cheap" in a comment about a $40 table saw, and when I asked why, the mod just said my account was "low value," so I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten a full ban over one ordinary word.
The "low value" thing is what gets me. I used to just lurk and roll my eyes when people complained about mods. Figured they probably earned it somehow. Then I got a 7 day mute on a cooking sub for saying a recipe looked "fine" and the mod told me I was being rude to the OP. Learned my lesson there. Now I barely comment anywhere. One wrong word and you're gone.
