Finally got unbanned from a Discord server after 8 months of appeals

I got banned from a gaming Discord for 'spamming' when I just posted a link to a friend's stream once. Took me 8 months of sending polite messages to the mod team before someone actually read my appeal. They admitted it was a mistake and let me back in yesterday lol. Has anyone else had to grind that long just to get a ban reversed?

my buddy got perma'd from a minecraft server for "griefing" when all he did was accidentally break a block in someone's base. He spent a whole year sending appeals through their ticket system, polite as can be, no insults or anything. Eventually he found out the mod who banned him had quit, and a new mod reviewed his case in like two days. They unbanned him but also gave him a "warning" for something that wasn't even his fault. He still plays there but barely talks in chat now because he's paranoid lol.

A year of tickets for one accidental block break, that's modern customer service in a nutshell @evan_dixon67.
