Got a week off a big gardening forum for posting a link to a seed swap site

I mean, I was just trying to help someone find heirloom tomato seeds. The mod said it was 'unvetted third party content' and that was that. It was a site I've used for three years with no issues. They didn't even give a warning, just a straight 7-day ban. Has anyone else run into this kind of rule on other hobby sites?

Ever think they're just trying to stop a scam before it happens? Your good site looks just like a bad one to them.

Problem is they never tell you the exact reason... so you can't fix it. It's like getting a test back with just "wrong" written on it. How do you learn? A scam site changes its look fast, but a real business gets stuck in this weird limbo forever.
