Got kicked from a hobbyist woodworking forum over a 4-year-old post
Last week I got a notification that I was banned from this woodworking forum I joined back in 2019. Turns out someone dug up a post I made in 2020 where I joked about using a butter knife as a chisel for a quick project. I mean, I was being sarcastic but the mod said I was promoting unsafe practices. I get it now though, looking back that post could get someone hurt if they took it literally. Has anyone else gotten banned years later for something that was clearly a joke at the time?
