Got permabanned from r/personalfinance for a comment about my $340 grocery budget, and the mod's one line reply actually fixed my whole system
I posted my monthly budget breakdown and a mod removed it, then sent me a note saying "this is a humble brag with no numbers anyone can use." I was mad for a day, then went back and reread my own post and he was right, I wrote "I just cook at home more" like that helps anybody. So I rebuilt the whole thing as a spreadsheet with actual prices from the Kroger on Lamar, item by item, and reposted it in a smaller budgeting sub with 4,200 members. It got 60 comments and three people said they copied my Aldi list word for word. Still banned from the big sub though, so does anyone know if that kind of ban ever gets lifted if you message the mods directly?
