Hit exactly 500 downvotes on a political post in a local FB group before it got taken down

I was arguing about the new bike lanes on Main Street downtown and the post hit 500 downvotes in under 4 hours, then the mods deleted it without any warning. Does that number mean I was right or just that I touched a nerve with the wrong crowd?
