I finally got banned from a forum I joined in 2009 and the reason was one word in a 14 word post
Spent 15 years on a woodworking board out of Grand Rapids and got the boot over a single word the mods decided was political, which back then would have just been a shrug.

The part about it being a shrug back then is what gets me, because I'm not sure the word changed so much as the people watching for it did. Fifteen years of posts and one slip gets you the door, which says more about how jumpy things got than whatever you actually typed. A woodworking board should be about dovetails, not word patrol.
