Mod banned me from a DIY forum for saying their favorite epoxy brand cracked on me
I got perma'd from r/woodworking for posting that I used Super Glaze epoxy on a bar top and it cracked within 3 weeks in my basement at 68 degrees. The mod said I was "spreading false info" because the brand sponsors them, lol. Has anyone else been booted from a forum for posting a bad product experience that went against the grain?

Did they give you any warning first or just straight to permanent ban?

Oh man, that's rough. I actually saw this happen to a buddy of mine a few months back. He was just posting in a basketball subreddit about some trade rumors and got hit with a permaban out of nowhere. No warning at all. He'd been a member for like three years too, never even had a post removed before. When he messaged the mods about it, they just ignored him for weeks and then finally replied with some copy-paste response about "violating community standards" without pointing to any specific comment. It's kinda wild how mods can just do that with no accountability.
