Rant: got muted in a fishing group in Biloxi for asking if the 12 inch slot limit is actually helping
I posted in a Gulf Coast fishing group based out of Biloxi asking if the 12 inch speckled trout limit is really helping the stock or just making it harder on people who fish from shore, and a mod muted me within 20 minutes with no warning. Now I'm seeing both sides: some guys swear the slot limit saved the fishery, others say it just punishes the little guy who can't run offshore to deeper water. Where do you all land on this, and have you ever gotten silenced just for asking a real question in a local group?

Did the mods ever tell you why they actually muted you?
