Showerthought: wasted $150 on a meal prep delivery service
Signed up for Fresh Eats in Phoenix. Thought it would save time. First box came with wilted kale and a leaky chicken pack. Second box was missing the sauce packets. By week three I had spent $150 and still hit the drive thru twice. Anyone else get roped into these services and regret it?

Every single subscription service out there is built on people hoping this time will be different, while the company banks on you not actually canceling. We'd all save money just buying what we need at the store that day.

My neighbor signed up for a meal kit service and got three boxes before realizing she could just walk to the grocery store and pick out her own vegetables in ten minutes. @roberts.jordan is right, the whole thing is just hoping you won't remember to call and cancel.
