Rant: I was setting up a new stand in the shop last week and realized I've been doing it wrong for years.
I was mounting a customer's carbon frame and the clamp kept slipping, so I grabbed my old torque wrench to check it. The manual said 5 Nm, but my wrench hadn't been calibrated since I bought it three years ago and was reading almost 8. Has anyone else had a tool drift that much without regular checks?

Yeah, that drift is scary... I send my torque wrenches out once a year now. Learned the hard way after a similar scare.

Once a year? That seems like overkill to me.
