Rant: The week I had to fix 7 stripped pedal threads in a row

Every single one was a left-side crank arm from people forcing pedals, and I had to helicoil each one. Anyone got a better trick for convincing customers to use grease and go slow?

The "my shop charges double for left-side repairs" thing is wild because it kinda shows how we all just accept weird pricing without questioning it. Like I noticed at the grocery store last week, the same brand of salsa was $1 more on the top shelf than the bottom shelf. Nobody says anything because we're all just trained to grab what's in front of us. Same with car repairs, people just pay whatever the shop says because they don't have a choice. It's like this whole system where businesses add random fees and we just nod along.
