Talked to an old roadie mechanic at a swap meet last Saturday and he said something about wheel bearings that won't leave my head

He was like 70, been building wheels since the 70s. Told me he never uses grease on cartridge bearings, just a tiny drop of light oil. Said grease just traps grit and kills them faster. I always packed mine full of Park grease. Been doing it wrong for like 15 years. Anyone else ever heard this or is this guy just old school crazy?

Makes me wonder how many other things I've been doing the hard way just cause that's how I was taught.

Start questioning everything your parents taught you about folding fitted sheets.
