The week a customer brought in a bike with a squirrel nest in the frame
This guy rolled in with a vintage steel road bike that hadn't moved in years. He said it made a 'rustling' sound when he picked it up. We took off the seatpost and a whole family of baby squirrels stared back at us from inside the seat tube. Had to very carefully tip the frame over a trash can until they all tumbled out, mom included. Has anyone else had to perform wildlife extraction as part of a tune-up?

Honestly shows how nature just moves right into our old stuff.

I grew up in a 1950s suburb where the old houses had chain link fences and concrete patios, and now they're all cracked with moss and weeds pushing through. It's more like we just built stuff that wasn't made to last very long, and nature's just doing its thing with the mess we left behind.
