Tried strapping my work clothes to the rack instead of wearing them, and my ride got 8 minutes faster
For two years I wore my work shirt and pants on the ride to the office in Denver, then changed in the bathroom once I got there. Last week I rolled the clothes tight, strapped them to my rear rack, and rode in just my shorts and a t-shirt instead. My 4.5 mile ride went from 28 minutes down to about 20, mostly because I wasn't sweating through a button down the whole way. Now I'm wondering if anyone else does the clothes-on-the-rack thing and what bag or strap setup you use to keep them from getting wrinkled.
