Binged a whole season in one night and the finale glitched out on me

Last Friday I was in my living room in Austin with a big bowl of popcorn ready to finish the last 4 episodes of that new detective show everyone's talking about. Around 2 AM the streaming app just froze right at the big reveal, the screen went black for maybe 10 minutes while I sat there staring at my own reflection. I ended up restarting the router and the TV twice before it finally came back, but by then the credits were rolling and I missed the whole ending scene. Has anyone else had a platform crash at the worst possible moment and had to rewatch an episode just to get closure?
