I finally watched that show everyone was talking about three years ago

I mean, I was living in that tiny apartment in Chicago and just never got around to it. Now I'm kicking myself because it's so good, but I have no one to talk to about it since the hype is long gone. Anyone else have a show they missed when it was new and now feel weirdly late to the party?

You said you watched Breaking Bad years later and it was maybe better without the noise. That really hits home for me. But don't you find that some shows lose their punch when you already know the big twists from cultural osmosis? Even trying to avoid spoilers, you often hear the watercooler moments.

You know how it feels to show up to a party after everyone left? I'm basically the guy eating cold pizza while the hosts are vacuuming. At least we can watch without all the spoilers.

Honestly, is it that big a deal? Shows don't go bad. It's not like milk. You get to watch it without all the noise and hot takes. I finally saw Breaking Bad like five years after it ended. It was just as good, maybe better because I could binge it. The party isn't over, you just showed up when it's quiet.
