I was sure that new sci-fi show would be too confusing, but the third episode hooked me

My friend kept telling me to watch 'The Peripheral' and I kept putting it off. The trailers made it look like a mess of time jumps and weird tech. I finally gave in and watched the pilot, and honestly, I was still lost. But I pushed through to episode three, where the two main timelines finally clicked into place. That moment when the characters realized what was really happening made everything make sense. Has anyone else had a show that started slow but got amazing after a few episodes?

What show was that for you? I felt the same way about Severance. The first two episodes were a real slow burn with all the office rules, but by episode three when things started to break, I was totally in.
