Just realized I watched the same show 3 times in a row last month

I was scrolling through Netflix in September and somehow ended up rewatching Breaking Bad for the third time this year. It's not even my top 5 favorite shows but I keep getting sucked into the desert scenes and the way Jesse talks. Does anyone else have that one show they just can't stop replaying even though you know every plot twist?

Got hooked myself last winter with Mad Men. I put it on while folding laundry and ended up sitting down for three episodes straight every time. @nina_clark brings up a good point about attention levels - I started it as background noise but the writing just kept pulling me back in. The way Don Draper stares at a glass of whiskey for five seconds says more than most shows say in a whole season. Now it's my go to for when I need something familiar but still smart enough to catch new details each time.

Wait are you watching it just for background noise or are you actually paying full attention every time? Because there's a huge difference between having it on while you scroll your phone and genuinely sitting through Walt's slow transformation again. Like I can't tell if you're rewatching for the tension that still holds up or if you just use the show as comfort food while you do other stuff. For me it's The Office but I skip the Scott's Tots episode every single time because I physically can't handle it.
