My son said he'd rather watch a show with me than play his game
We were in the kitchen yesterday and he told me he liked our 'Stranger Things' nights more than his new video game. It hit different because I thought he was just being polite before. Now I'm scrambling to find another show we can both get into. What's a good series for a parent and a 14-year-old to watch together?

You got a friend whose kid actually said that to them? That's wild. My buddy Tom from work, his 14-year-old is obsessed with 'The Last of Us' and they've been watching it together every week. Tom told me the kid even pauses it to explain stuff from the game, which I guess is their version of bonding. But here's the thing, Tom said his son only suggested it because he heard other kids at school talking about it. Now they're through the whole first season and the kid's already asking when season 2 comes out. So maybe pick something that's got that same mix of creepy and heartfelt, like how 'Stranger Things' does it.
