Pro tip: Why does everyone think 'The Wire' is the best show ever made?

I keep seeing people rank 'The Wire' as the top binge-worthy show, but I think 'Breaking Bad' is way more rewatchable. 'The Wire' has a slow burn that takes like 5 episodes to hook you, while Breaking Bad grabs you in the first scene. Am I the only one who thinks the pacing of a show matters more than its 'depth' when you're trying to binge it over a weekend?

My uncle binged all 5 seasons in a weekend and barely slept.

That's like saying a novel is worse than a comic book because it doesn't have enough pictures. Some of us actually enjoy being forced to pay attention.
