PSA: The first season of The Bear was filmed in just 18 days

I read that in an article about TV production and it blew my mind, given how good it looks. Has anyone else been surprised by how fast a great show was made?

You're right about the kitchen chaos. I always thought you needed months to get that kind of messy, real feeling. Hearing they did it in 18 days completely flipped my view. It proves a good plan and a crew that knows what they're doing beats just having more time. Makes you respect the hustle behind the scenes a lot more.
