Rant: The Wire holds up way better than The Sopranos and it is not close

I rewatched The Sopranos last year and finished The Wire again 3 weeks ago, and The Wire just does more with its 60 hours. Tony's story runs out of gas around season 4 while Stringer and Omar kept me locked in the whole way. Has anyone else tried back to back rewatches like this, or am I just picking fights?

Buddy did both, quit Sopranos mid s4, finished Wire twice.
