Passed 500 custom hooks forged last month and honestly it caught me off guard

I started keeping count on a scrap piece of rebar back in March just to see how many I was actually making. Last week I marked number 500 and had to double check my tally marks three times. I always figured hook making was just filler work between bigger projects, but hitting that number made me realize how much time I spend on the little stuff that actually pays the bills. Has anyone else had a production number sneak up on them like that?

Whoa wait, you tracked it on a piece of rebar?! That's actually kind of awesome and hardcore at the same time. I'd probably lose the scrap metal halfway through and start over.

That's exactly what I'd do too @skyler_mitchell, lose the rebar halfway through and start over. I swear my brain just shuts off the second I put something down. It's like the object teleports into a black hole.
