Switched from coal to propane forge and it's night and day difference

I was using a cheap coal forge I got off Facebook Marketplace for like 6 months. It worked fine but I spent so much time adjusting the airflow and waiting for it to heat up. Tried a propane forge at a buddy's shop last week and my first billet reached welding temp in under 10 minutes. The control is just way better, no messing with ash either. Anyone else make the switch and not look back?

Night and day difference" describes how I feel when I realize I left my propane tank at home again.

And that right there is the kind of mistake that makes you feel like a real genius when you're already halfway to the campsite. I've done similar things myself, like when I grabbed the spare propane tank but it was empty from the previous trip. Makes you appreciate the simple act of double checking your gear before you pull out of the driveway.
