Choosing between a full campaign game and a weekly game night was a real turning point for me.

About eight months ago, my regular group had to decide: commit to a 12-session Gloomhaven campaign or stick with our usual rotation of shorter games. We picked the campaign, clearing every other Tuesday night for it. It was a big ask, but we've made it through seven sessions so far. The shared story and inside jokes we've built are something a one-off game just can't match. Has anyone else made a similar deep dive, and did your group stick with it?

Oh man, my group barely commits to pizza toppings.

Yeah, that's the worst. It's like they're picking a life partner, not pepperoni. You just have to order half cheese and let them fight over the rest.

The real power move is ordering a pizza you actually want and letting them pick off what they don't like. It forces a decision and you still get your favorite toppings. People get weirdly frozen by too many choices. Half the time they just copy the first person who speaks up anyway.
