I thought legacy games were just a gimmick until I tried Charterstone
My game group in Austin picked it up six months ago, and I was sure the stickers and permanent changes were a waste. After our third session, watching the board evolve based on our choices, I was totally hooked. The way it tells a story you can't replay is actually pretty cool. Anyone else have a game that changed their mind like that?

@anthony_burns Yeah, "forgetting the recharge pack existed" is basically my permanent state of being. I own one and I still forget it's a thing until someone posts about it online. You're not alone in that club.

Actually, the story in Charterstone is replayable, you just reset with the recharge pack. The legacy part is more about unlocking everything the first time. Still, totally get what you mean about it changing your view. My group felt the same way about Pandemic Legacy.

Oh man, @anthony_burns, you're making me feel dumb for forgetting the recharge pack existed (story of my life with board game rules).
