My game group keeps calling the 'banker' in Monopoly the 'money guy', and after 15 years of teaching 7th grade, I'm about to lose it.

It's not just a pet peeve, it's literally printed on the board and the rules, and I had to correct three separate adults last Saturday in Cincinnati who were passing out 500s like they were candy.

Passing out 500s like candy" is why we can't have nice things.

Wait, are you telling me someone was actually handing out $500 bills like they were nothing? I can barely get my bank to give me a $50 without a hassle. People just walking around with 500s in their pockets? That sounds like a made up movie scene. Either that person has way more money than sense or they were trying to impress someone and it backfired badly. Either way, that's just asking for trouble. You don't flash cash like that unless you want to get robbed or have everyone treating you like an ATM. And yeah, something like that definitely gives the rest of us a bad name when we're just trying to pay for things normally. No wonder people get weird about cash transactions now.

Can we just call it the banker like @rodriguez.jordan and I do?
