My take on cheating in friendly games did a 180 after our group fell apart
I used to think letting cheats slide kept the peace, lol. But when one guy kept sneaking extra resources, it made everyone else hate game night. Now I see calling out small cheats is needed to keep things fair and fun.

Totally get that! We had a similar thing with card games at my cousin's place. This one friend would always "forget" to count his points right, and it drove us nuts. At first we laughed it off, but then nobody wanted to play with him anymore. It got so bad we had to stop inviting him to game nights. Now we have a strict rule about keeping score on a whiteboard where everyone can see. It saved our group, honestly!

But what if he was just really bad at math, not cheating? The whiteboard rule seems like it could make things feel way too serious.
