Have you sealed the coasters after cutting them? I used a worn Clue board for this, slicing it into hexagons with a metal straight edge. Coated each piece with two layers of epoxy resin to prevent drink rings and add durability. They've survived constant use on my messy desk for over a year now. The key is a clean cut and a thick sealant to handle heat and moisture.

So much for @derek_burns's tiny rebellion when you're basically dipping the evidence in industrial plastic. Guess those board game coasters are committing fully to a life of crime now with that epoxy shield. My drinks would still find a way to mess it up somehow.

Could this be a TINY act of environmental rebellion?
