Warning: my group spent 3 hours on the Catan rulebook because one guy misread the harbor rules
We sat down at a friend's place in Ann Arbor to teach two new people Catan and it turned into a 3 hour argument about whether a 3:1 harbor works on any resource or just one. Turns out the guy teaching had been playing it wrong since 2016, so every game his crew ever won is suspect. We finally just read the card out loud and it took 30 seconds. How do you all handle the one person in your group who is dead sure they know the rules and refuses to crack the book?
