Found a 60 pound rat in the boiler room last Tuesday
No joke. We opened up the access panel on the low pressure side and this thing just stared at us. Bigger than my shop cat. It had been chewing on the insulation wrap. Foreman said "that's your new helper, Dave." We spent 2 hours chasing it with a shovel before it squeezed out a drain pipe. Anyone else deal with critters nesting in the firebox area?

That rat probably thought it hit the jackpot with that warm insulation. We had a possum crawl into the ductwork once and it sounded like a ghost banging around in there for a week.
