Took me 10 years to figure out a better way to lay out tube sheets

I used to mark every hole center with a center punch and do it all by hand. Took forever and one slip and you're off by a millimeter. Last month I finally broke down and bought a 12 inch digital caliper with a scribe attachment. Now I just measure once scribe the crosshairs and go. Saves me about 45 minutes per sheet. Anyone else have a tool they put off buying that ended up being worth every penny?

That 45 minutes adds up fast. I put off buying a good angle finder for years and now I use it on almost every job.
