Book club critique about pacing changed how I pick novels
My book club in Austin told me last month that I always pick slow burn literary fiction that drags in the middle. One member said "we need more plot hooks by chapter 3 or people stop reading." Did anyone else get feedback that made you rethink your book choices for the group?

Slow burn is part of the charm for me though.
