Honestly just realized our book club spent 4 hours arguing over a single paragraph in 'Klara and the Sun'

Tbh, we were supposed to discuss the whole book but got stuck on whether the sun was a real character or just a metaphor. Ngl, I looked at the clock and we'd been going in circles since 7 PM. Has your group ever gotten that deep into one tiny detail and lost the plot?

Happens all the time. Honestly, that's when you know it's a good book.

Right? There's something about those late night reading sessions where you completely lose track of time. Next thing you know it's 2 AM and your eyes are burning but you just can't put the book down. That's when you know the author really hooked you. I've had mornings where I regretted it but honestly it was always worth it. The best stories make you forget about stupid stuff like sleep and good lighting.

Or maybe you just need better lights.
