My book club spent $400 on a subscription box that gave us the same book twice
We signed up for a fancy monthly book box six months ago. It was supposed to send a new hardcover and themed snacks. Last month, the box arrived with a book we got three months prior. Same exact edition. The company said it was a 'curation error' and offered a 10% discount on the next box. That's not good enough. We're out the money and now have a duplicate. Has your club ever gotten locked into a bad book service deal? What did you do?

Sounds like companies get sloppy once they have your money.

Yeah, it's like that everywhere now, @skyler_anderson65. I see it with my gym membership too, they never fix the broken machines. Once they have you locked in, the effort just stops.
