Our book club's voting system completely fell apart last week
We were picking our next book, and the online poll crashed after 15 people voted, losing all the data. We had to switch to just shouting titles over Zoom, which was a mess. Has anyone else had a tech failure derail their meeting?

Man, 15 votes is such a small number to lose everything. @the_uma is right, you guys need to get a backup plan sorted. My club uses a simple Google Forms poll and someone always screenshots the results right after. We learned that lesson the hard way too, after a similar crash.

Oh the shouting titles over Zoom sounds rough! We had a poll fail once and just used the Zoom chat for a quick vote. Everyone typed one book title, and we counted them manually. It was way less chaotic than talking over each other.
