PSA: A guy at my Thursday book club said he stopped rating books with stars, and now our whole group argues about it
He's been keeping a plain notebook for two years just writing one line about how each book made him feel, and half of us think it's genius while the other half say it kills the fun of a good ranking fight. Anyone else's club split over something this small?
