Three full evenings? That sounds about right for a clean edge. What kind of leather were you working with?

Yeah but did you burnish wet or dry? That changes the whole game.

Yeah, "sounds about right" was my old take too. Working with some stiff veg tan changed my mind on how long a clean edge really takes.
