Vent: I spent $80 on a 'professional' bone folder and it's just a glorified piece of plastic.

The edges are already rounding over after a single project, and my old teak one I made for free works ten times better. Anyone have a real bone or Teflon folder they'd actually swear by?

Doesn't it feel like everything is just cheap plastic now pretending to be something better? I bought a "heavy duty" kitchen tool last month that snapped in half. My friend got a fancy pen that cracked the first time she used it. It's like they're banking on us giving up and just buying the next shiny thing. What was the last thing you bought that totally fell apart?

Ever wonder if they make these things bad on purpose? A cheap tool that breaks means you need a replacement, but a tool that lasts forever is a lost customer. Maybe the real money isn't in selling you a good bone folder, but in selling you the idea of one over and over.
